The Hematology Central Coordinating Center (HCCC) organizes and facilitates the activities of all the CCEHs in close collaboration with NIDDK by:
Disseminating resources and services.
The HCCC maintains a website that facilitates the rapid and broad-reaching dissemination of information about CCEH resources to scientists located throughout the country. We manage and oversee funding opportunities that enable researchers to access core services to enable hematology research projects.
Enhancing hematology research.
We have developed a repository of resources like protocols, videos, datasets, and seminars that cover a variety of topics within hematology. These resources enable scientists to gain the expertise needed to tackle complex questions in hematology independently or in collaboration with other users.
Broadening participation within the hematology research community.
The HCCC manages funding programs designed to support investigators as they pursue innovative research directions within hematology. We have developed opportunities specific to early career scientists to foster their career and scientific development.
